Commercial strategy and market intelligence for aerospace, defence, space and advanced technology
Andy Reyyan Demir is an international commercial executive, strategist, and industry analyst with more than 20 years of experience across the aerospace, defence, space, semiconductor, and advanced technology markets. Andy's career sits at the intersection of engineering, commercial leadership and international market development, with experience across more than sixteen countries in Europe, the Middle East, the Gulf, Africa and the CIS.
Andy is the founder and editor of SwissTechnic, an independent executive-intelligence publication for boards, senior leaders and investors.

Perspective
Most coverage of these industries focuses on technologies, contracts, and headlines. Andy's work follows something less visible: where control, bargaining power and economic value move when the architecture of a market changes.
That shift is now visible across every sector SwissTechnic covers. Aircraft value increasingly depends on software, lifecycle data and scarce maintenance capacity. Defence procurement increasingly rewards industrial sovereignty, localisation and technological control. Space is becoming infrastructure for communications, navigation, observation and security rather than a discrete industry. Autonomous systems now compete on architecture, data and learning speed rather than on individual platforms.
Who gains control, bargaining power and economic value as the industrial architecture changes?

About SwissTechnic
SwissTechnic is an independent executive-intelligence platform examining the forces reshaping aerospace, defence, space and advanced technology. It goes beyond announcements and technology trends to ask what developments mean for decision-makers: where value is migrating, how markets are being restructured, where industrial power is consolidating and which capabilities will become strategically important.
Coverage includes aerospace and aviation, MRO and the aftermarket, defence and autonomous systems, space economics, cyber security, semiconductors and electronics, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies and software-defined systems. It also covers finance, capital and commodity markets, to the extent that they shape industrial power.

Advisory and commentary
Andy works with companies, investors and leadership teams on defined strategic questions. These include executive intelligence, market and competitor analysis, international partner identification, market-entry strategy, industrial participation and localisation, and interim or fractional commercial leadership. Andy is also available for selected panels, executive briefings and expert commentary on European defence market access, autonomous systems, aviation aftermarket transformation and NewSpace commercial strategy.
Education
Andy holds a BEng in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, a Master's in Space Studies from the International Space University in Strasbourg, an Executive MBA from Koç University, and a Master's in Wealth Management from the University of Luxembourg. Together, these connect technology, finance, industrial capability, and commercial execution, areas that are often treated separately but increasingly determine competitive advantage.
